Development overviews
- Profile ring of slewing bearing is produced by two ring rolling processes. 1st ring rolling for blank intermediate ring, Mold exchange, 2nd ring rolling for intermediate ring final ring.
- Two molds were applied to one mandrel bar so that the first process (blank- > intermediate ring) and the second process (intermediate ring - > final ring) can be carried out at once without the need to change the mold during the process. I have developed a program for ring mill that can carry out two ring rolling processes continuously and automatically at a time.
Achievement
- Reduced forging weight by 13 kg compared to plain ring
- The world's first ring mill program to continuously carry out two ring rolling processes in one ring mill.
